We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and packages to designated destinations.
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or heavy equipment when necessary.
Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before departure.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management, as needed.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related fields preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, or other machinery is a plus.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
Prior experience in logistics or transportation is preferred but not mandatory.
