Delivery Driver - 5 Ton Commercial Truck

Schedule: Mon- Saturday Weekdays + 1 mandatory weekend shift

About the Role:

Yen Bros. Food Service (2011) LTD is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. You'll play a key role in delivering food service products across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, ensuring timely, safe, and courteous service to our valued customers

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a variety of food service products to commercial clients via designated routes

Load, unload, inspect, and deliver goods according to customer invoices

Maintain accurate delivery logs and submit reports daily

Communicate delivery expectations and updates to customers

Collect payments when required

Uphold road safety and company delivery standards at all times

Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience driving commercial delivery vehicles (preferably 5-ton trucks)

Clean driving abstract and valid commercial license

Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada

Available to work one weekend shift per week

Strong knowledge of Vancouver Island and surrounding areas, including ferry routes

Proven ability to navigate narrow aisles, back alleys, and tight delivery zones

Skilled in safe parking and maneuvering of large vehicles

Additional Qualifications:

Previous delivery experience preferred

Familiarity with Lower Mainland roads and routes

Experience with warehouse operations and material handling equipment (e.g., forklift)

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English

High school diploma or equivalent
