Position Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless, informative, and satisfying vehicle delivery experience for customers purchasing new and used vehicles, with a primary focus on new Toyota and Toyota Certified Used vehicles. This role also supports vehicle acquisition efforts, primarily in collaboration with the Service Department. The position plays a key role in enhancing the overall customer experience through effective communication, technology expertise, and post-delivery follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Delivery Support
Support the Sales team during vehicle deliveries by ensuring customers are fully familiar with their vehicle's features, options, and equipment.
Assist in the preparation and setup of all new Toyota and Toyota Certified Used vehicles prior to delivery.
Technology Leadership
Serve as the Sales Department's "Technology Champion," remaining current on evolving vehicle technologies and Toyota product updates.
Communicate and train Sales personnel on significant technology changes and new features.
Customer Follow-Up
Conduct post-delivery follow-up calls or emails to confirm customer satisfaction and encourage positive online reviews.
Vehicle Acquisition
Collaborate with the Service Department to support vehicle acquisition initiatives as required.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with Sales and Service teams to ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive customer experience.
Additional Duties
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
