Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. A strong focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage (delivery of flooring materials, heavy lifting is a requirement). Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery, including moving inventory and heavy lifting as needed. Collaborate with team members to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including moving and handling inventory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not required; training may be provided. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job efficiently.
