We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations Load and unload items, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure accurate delivery of goods, verifying orders against delivery manifests Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery area Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or issues Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing stock as needed Adhere to all safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and traffic laws

Skills

Experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically move items safely Proficiency with forklifts or willingness to learn forklift operation Strong customer service skills for positive interactions during deliveries Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and customer engagement Ability to handle moving tasks efficiently within warehouse or delivery environments Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse work
