Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deli/Bakery Manager to lead our food service team in delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. This position is a mix of both Back of House and Front of House. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food preparation and safety, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment. As the Deli/Bakery Manager, you will take part in all daily operations including food preparation, serving customers, managing and training staff, and ensuring that our food service department meets the highest standards of quality, hospitality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train food service staff, fostering a positive team environment. Take part in daily operations including food preparation, baking, and presentation of products. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock. Implement effective customer service strategies to enhance guest experiences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bakery area. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions and inventory management. Collaborate with upper management on product development and promotional activities.
Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and operations (Back of House) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food handling standards. Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
