Deli Specialist

Reporting to the Deli Department Manager, the Deli Department Specialist works with others in a fast paced, family-type atmosphere to provide professional, inviting service to customers and accurately package, label and merchandize deli products.

What You Bring to Our Team:

Minimum two years of experience in retail, deli or kitchen A combination of experience and education Good food preparation and knife skills Flexible availability from 7:00 am until 7:30pm Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Provide courteous, friendly and efficient customer service Ensure a positive, friendly and supportive work environment Organize and ensure proper storage of inventory Answer telephone calls and receive orders Create, maintain and rotate product displays Assist in the production of deli items, while maintaining impeccable cleanliness Package, label, and stock deli counters and displays Maintain a safe and clean deli department by complying with company policies and procedures Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures Attend occasional staff meetings Other assigned duties as they may arise
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 32 per week
