Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to be a part of our communities local family run market. Our ideal candidate will be caring, reliable and passionate. They will be able to efficiently complete their duties, maintain a clean and organized workspace while also providing genuine customer service.

Duties

Prepare, bake and serve deli products throughout the day Assist customers with inquiries, orders, and recommendations Operate deli equipment including slicers, ovens, and scales Manage inventory levels, place orders and replenish stock as needed Responsible for sourcing and new product launches Upsell products to customers to increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area Ensure compliance with food safety regulations Help on cash as needed Social Media Advertising
Requirements

Experience in a deli setting is preferred but not required as we will provide training Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers positively Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures Familiarity with cashiering duties is a plus Up to date Food Safe Certificate Able to complete heavy lifting of up to 50lbs
