Summary

We are seeking a Deli Associate to join our team at Green's Organic Market in Vancouver. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve deli items with attention to quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area according to health standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist with inventory management and restocking of deli products. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation or food service environment. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. Experience with POS systems is a plus (Aloha POS or Micros POS). Time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Culinary experience is preferred but not required.
