Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Deli Clerk at our Food Store in Swan River, MB.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Deli Manager, the Deli Clerk's responsibilities will include the following:


Maintain sections of merchandise (luncheon meat, cheese, home meal replacement, hot food, bulk product, packaged product) as assigned in an effective manner. Fry chicken and prepare fresh value-added product and home meal replacement items as per established Co-op recipes and procedures. Ensure the Deli Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times. Provide customer service in line with the Co-op brand. Observe and maintain sanitation standards and practices, maintain tools and equipment, and keep work area clean and neat. Assist with other duties as assigned.

You have applicable training or experience. You are strongly service oriented, motivated, and capable of serving customers in a courteous, efficient manner. You have the capability to operate the required equipment within the Deli. You are able to work full time hours.
