What you'll do:

Reporting to the Deli/Bakery Manager, the Deli Clerk II is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Deli Department. Other responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to;


Supervisory duties such as communicating department needs, oversee Team Members' performance, provide guidance and support, identify development needs. Ordering, invoicing, and receiving Preparation of value-added product Stocking and rotation of merchandise Present a neat, clean, and well-merchandised department Answer product related questions from customers Develop and promote a culture of engagement within the department and the Co-operative Ensure the Deli team adheres to established standards, including safe food handling and sanitation, health and safety and loss prevention Be a mentor and coach to provide exemplary customer service to all our guests

Must be tech-savvy. Familiarity with the retail industry would be an asset. You possess excellent leadership skills. You have a positive and ambitious attitude, communication, coaching and interpersonal skills to engage the deli team.
