Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of deli products including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to sanitation standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent sales skills with an ability to upsell products effectively. Knowledge of food service operations in quick service or fast food environments. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for inventory management. Experience in bussing, serving, or kitchen roles within the food industry is advantageous. Retail math knowledge is beneficial for managing stock levels accurately.
