We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Deli Assistant Manager to lead our deli team with enthusiasm and expertise. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and deliver outstanding customer service. Our Deli is in Transition; we are excited about the direction we are going and need an authentic passionate assistant to support our incredible Deli manager during this exciting time of growth.

Duties

Supervise daily deli operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and freshness Oversee inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Assist in menu planning, product placement, and promotional activities to enhance customer experience and sales Lead shift management by coordinating tasks efficiently, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours

Requirements

Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Familiarity with inventory control practices and food safety protocols Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing potential team members Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
