Position Details:
Season operates annually from October 1st to April 30th. (with options to extend over the summer)
Flexible hours and shifts are available depending on operational needs; 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Priority will be given to those that can work 3 or more shifts a week.
Employees must be willing to work in inclement weather and at heights.
Experience in: Aircraft deicing, airport operations, ramp work, students in aircraft/airport fields of study, or pilots, are preferred but

Aeromag YVR is seeking reliable and motivated individuals for the Deicing Technician position, to provide Aircraft Deicing Operations and Apron FOD Management at Vancouver International Airport.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Prerequisites:
Must be fluent in English
Valid Driver's License (N Class 7 or higher)
Ability to pass a police background check
Potential employee must be able to obtain a Transportation Security Clearance RAIC which requires a physical copy of:
A Canadian Birth Certificate
or;
A Canadian Citizenship card
or;
A VALID Permanent Residence Card and A Landed Immigration document (IMM1000)
and;
Original valid passport (If not valid - provide valid Canadian Government issued photo ID)
A work permit allowing for 40 hours+ of work per week
Potential employee must be able to obtain D/A AVOP (Airport Vehicle Operator Permit)
