Aeromag YYC is looking for dynamic individuals to fill the position of De-icing Technician for our seasonal de-icing operations at the Calgary International Airport.

We have full-time lines available for mornings with a start time of 5:00am-5:30pm and 6:00am-6:30pm part time lines available for evening shifts with a start time of 5:00pm-1:00am. The current openings are on a fixed schedule

Hours, schedules, and shifts may change to meet operational requirements. Our starting wage for this position is
$19.25/hr (non-negotiable)

Main Responsibilities:
Conduct aircraft de-icing and anti-icing activities
Ensure that the fleet of vehicles have sufficient fuel and glycol
Ensure that our fleet of vehicles are clean and in good working condition
Communicate all discrepancies or issues immediately to his/her supervisor
Conduct maintenance of equipment and clean facilities in accordance with Aero Mag's upkeep and cleanliness standard
Essential Competencies
Relevant aircraft de-icing or aviation experience.
Must possess a good sense of initiative.
Needs to be self-motivated.
Proficient in English written and spoken.
Detailed oriented.
Experience with equipment operation.
Able to work under pressure.
Considers health and safety as a top priority.

Employment Requirements:
Class 5 (GDL) Driver's License
Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and subsequently obtain an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP). Background check is done by Transport Canada. There is no cost associated in obtaining a RAIC and AVOP.
The Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver's licence, as well as obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP) and a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
