Job Title: Cleaner (Part-Time, Casual)

Overview

We're looking for someone who shares those same values to help keep our spaces clean, comfortable, and running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone seeking casual, steady work -- perhaps a person with a flexible schedule, or someone who enjoys contributing to a positive environment without the demands of full-time employment.

This is a part-time, casual position consisting of approximately 4-5 hours per week on a consistent schedule, not including Airbnb cleans, which will occur only as needed based on guest activity. Occasional weekend work may be required for Airbnb turnover cleans, though this will not be frequent.

Compensation for this position is $25 per hour.

1. Gladstone Brewing Co.

Location: 244 4th

Hours: Approximately 2 hours per week (with potential to expand)

Areas of Focus:

Office space: Cleaning all surfaces, emptying garbage and recycling, vacuuming and mopping floors, and maintaining general organization.

Washrooms: Thorough cleaning of toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors; restocking supplies.

Shared spaces: Maintaining cleanliness and order in entryways, back office, and staff areas to a consistently high standard.

This portion of the role can occur on a regular weekly schedule, ideally during non-operating hours for ease of access.

2. Private Residence

Hours: Approximately 2-3 hours per week

Duties Include:

Comprehensive home cleaning, including bathrooms, kitchen, and floors

Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping throughout the home

Housekeeping and tidying tasks, such as organizing spaces, folding laundry, maintaining order, and cleaning appliances (including the fridge)

Ensuring the home remains clean, organized, and well cared for on an ongoing basis

Scheduling is flexible but should occur consistently each week.

3. Airbnb Property

Hours: Casual, as required

Duties Include:

Turnover cleaning between guest stays, including changing bedding, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, and resetting the space

Ensuring the property is spotless and guest-ready with strong attention to presentation and detail

Restocking supplies and reporting any maintenance or repair needs

Scheduling for Airbnb cleanings will be communicated in advance and may occasionally fall on weekends.

Previous cleaning experience required

High attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality in residential settings
