Four Seasons Hotel Toronto\'s d|bar Team is currently looking for a talented and dynamic Full-Time Seasonal Server who shares our passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do!About the role:d|bar by Chef Daniel Boulud is located in the historic Village of Yorkville, Toronto\xe2\x80\x99s most luxurious shopping and dining district. With an impressive view of Yorkville Avenue, this lively cocktail bar in Toronto is the perfect place for a drink before or after your meal, or make d|bar the evening\xe2\x80\x99s destination and choose from a menu of casual fare that\xe2\x80\x99s ideal for sharing.The Server is an essential member of the d|bar team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to d|bar\xe2\x80\x99s standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. They anticipate and services guests\xe2\x80\x99 needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials.What you will bring:We are looking for an individual who possesses an affinity for guest service! This position requires an applicant with a high level of wine and food knowledge. Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform this position to d|bar\xe2\x80\x99s standards and learn the sequence of service is required. Servers are also required to perform additional side work, greet and seat guests in the absence of the host, take reservations and have the ability to use the POS System. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40lbs and applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request!Smart Serve Certification is a must.Additional preferred skills & abilities:1-2 years previous server experience in a fast paced food and beverage operationExceptional communication skills and command of English languageAdditional language a definite asset for career growthCompletion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related fieldWhat we offer:
