Description:
We are seeking a seasoned DB2 z/OS Database Administrator (DBA) for a 6-month remote contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our DB2 z/OS Application database. This role includes providing robust database administration support for applications, assisting in application design, conducting SQL reviews, and implementing data model changes as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the DB2 z/OS Application database.
- Application Support: Provide DBA support for applications, including assisting in application design, SQL review, and data model changes.
- Application Knowledge: Experience with complex high-performance financial applications.
- 15+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
