Title: Mobile Patrol Supervisor

Location: Nanaimo

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 15:30

Wage: $21.55/hr (includes 2.5% RRSP Cash)

Reports to: Mobile Manager

Management / Non-Management: Non-Management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Function as the team leader - monitoring and coaching other mobile drivers who may need assistance.
  • Assist in the training of new Patrol Drivers, always setting a good example.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations.
  • Conduct security checks at client sites according to directives, standards, and post orders.
  • Utilize company cell phones, and TrackTik phone app.
  • Conduct alarm response to client sites as needed.
  • Conduct House Watch patrol if necessary.
  • Attend lone worker sites to check on workers when requested.
  • Ensure incident and shift reports are completed including run sheets, vehicle inspection reports, incident reports and alarm reports.
  • Submit gas receipts via Trac Tic report.
  • Report for shifts on time, maintaining proper dress and deportment.
  • Report any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues.
  • Conduct vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean and washed as required.
  • Bring vehicles into Toyota / Wheaton for service appointments as directed by Mobile Manager.
  • Maintain high standard of work ethic and professionalism.
  • Promote a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude.
  • Keep management aware of any unusual incidents.
  • Complete any additional assignment as instructed by the Mobile Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must possess a valid B.C. security worker licence.
  • Must possess a valid OFA 1 certificate or be willing to obtain.
  • Must possess a class 5 BC driver\'s licence with a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
  • You have excellent critical thinking skills and professional report writing.
  • Able to always interact with the public in a safe and courteous manner.
  • You are proficient equipment such as cell phones,
  • Proven report writing skills - especially using the TrackTik app.
  • Always exercise a keen sense of personal safety.
  • Previous mobile patrol experiences an asset (knowledge of existing client sites, procedures, etc.)
