We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services.
Ensure that the dining area is clean, well-organized, and ready for guests at all times.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their experience.
Skills
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
