Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic and professional Daytime Bartender/Manager on Duty (MOD) to join our team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service, managing bar operations, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, experience in food and beverage service, and the ability to oversee daily bar activities during daytime hours. Responsibilities



Act as the bartender, server, and busser rolled into one. Take food and drink orders at both the bar top and tables. Track all food and drink orders through POS system. Make drink orders and deliver to customers in a timely manner. Ensure food orders are ran to tables in a timely manner. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper food safety and food handling procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, and delivering a memorable experience. Oversee day-to-day bar operations. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures. Assist in sales efforts by promoting specials and upselling beverages to maximize revenue. Maintain a safe environment by monitoring guest behavior and enforcing responsible alcohol service policies. Collaborate with kitchen staff. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy daytime hours.

Requirements



Minimum 3 years (no more than a 6-month break) previous experience as a bartender/MOD in a pub, bar, or food service establishment is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to manage busy daytime shifts effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness. Must be at least 19 years old with a positive attitude towards providing great service and guest satisfaction. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
