a Dayhome agency that provides professional support and guidance to Dayhome educators, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting best practices in early childhood education (ECE). The ideal candidate will
possess a Level 3 Certification
and have at least one year of experience working in a dayhome agency, daycare, or childcare facility.
This position is eligible to the Alberta Childcare Wage Top-up.
Duties
Provide on-site support and consultation to dayhome educators.
Assist educators in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Monitor and ensure compliance with Alberta's regulations and standards for dayhomes.
Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of dayhome environments and practices.
Offer guidance on child development, behavior management, and health and safety practices.
Facilitate professional development opportunities and training for educators.
Support the development and maintenance of positive relationships with families and the community.
Collaborate with the management team to enhance the quality of child care services provided.
Skills
Level 3 Certification in Early Childhood Education (required).
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a dayhome agency, daycare or child care facility.
Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (an advantage).
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Alberta's child care regulations and standards.
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
