Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, providing a safe and nurturing environment, and facilitating educational activities. As a Daycare Director Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing staffing plan, communicating with families, and ensuring licensing compliances.

Duties:

- Supervise and monitor children in a safe and secure daycare setting.

- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities to stimulate learning and development.

- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment.

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.

- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children.

- This position is for IN-RATIO supervisor who has to be involved with floor responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children in Calgary is MANDATORY.

- Level 3 child care certificate is MANDATORY.

- Residing in Calgary city limits is MANDATORY.

- Prior Supervisory Experience in Daycare is a PLUS.

Must be FLUENT in Canadian spoken English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
