Job Summary


We are seeking a custodian for our brand-new Centre. This person will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Centre. This will start out as a casual position but has the potential to become a part-time position.

Duties



Some examples of duties are but not limited to:

Maintaining cleanliness of the daycare environment, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of toys, surfaces, and common areas Sweep and Wash Floors Vacuum Rugs Wash Windows Wall Washing Clean and Sanitize Bathrooms Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications



A current Police Record Check including a vulnerable sector check from within the province of Saskatchewan. Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred Strong cleaning skills, including commercial cleaning practices for maintaining hygiene standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, and team members Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to childcare facilities Ability to work independently but also take direction
This position is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere where children can thrive while ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $15.35-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week
