We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Daycare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This position requires a strong background in food service and culinary skills to assist in meal preparation and ensure that dietary needs are met.
Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking all meals outlined in the Seasonal Menu's
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
Keeping the Kitchen area clean and disinfected daily.
Coordinate with teachers on the number of students in each classroom.
Check the freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
Ensure compliance with all Ontario Health and Safety regulations.
Work Experience
Must have experience working as a chef for a large daycare.
Education
Ontario Food Handler Training Certificate.
Skills
Friendly with children.
Friendly with co-workers
