Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest services. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be instrumental in managing guest flow and enhancing the dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations or inquiries. Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Address any guest concerns or requests promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Experience in guest services within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of OpenTable Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$24.00 per hour
