We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Day Program Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting participants with daily activities, supporting their personal and social development, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment. Assist participants with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and hygiene as needed
Facilitate engaging, meaningful, and inclusive recreational and educational activities
Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times
Support participants in developing independence and social skills
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Document participant progress, behaviors, and incidents accurately and promptly
Follow individualized support plans and behavioral interventions as prescribed
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and other team members
Assist with transportation to and from the program when necessary, ensuring safety rules are followed
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or behavioral challenges
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and in-service sessions
Uphold agency policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Advocate for participants' needs and promote a positive, respectful atmosphere
support participants in community outings and activities to promote community integration
Promote a culture of safety, respect, and inclusion within the program
Human Services Certification or RCW Certification
Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
Criminal Background Check
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Ability to lift and assist participants with mobility or daily activities
Experience working with adults with disabilities or in a human services environment a must
Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends as needed
Reliable transportation to and from the program location
Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols
Ability to document and report participant progress and incidents accurately
Positive attitude and commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism
