San Vito Bakery - 110 Marine Parade Drive, Etobicoke, ON

Schedule:

6 days per week, 6-hour shifts

Salary:

$45,000 + incentives

Role Overview

We're looking for a

Day Manager

to help shape the daily operations of our bakery from the ground up. You'll be responsible for opening the shop each day, leading the team during daytime hours, and making sure customers leave happy.

What You'll Do

Open the bakery each morning and prepare for the day ahead Lead and support staff during daytime shifts Help with training and building a strong, reliable team Maintain product quality and ensure displays look their best Manage scheduling and coordinate with suppliers for stock Keep the bakery clean, safe, and welcoming Handle customer questions, feedback, and any issues Work with ownership to meet sales targets and improve operations

What We're Looking For

Previous management or supervisory experience in food service, retail, or hospitality Strong leadership and organizational skills Hands-on approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, especially as a new business grows Knowledge of food safety and health regulations Reliable and flexible, with weekend and holiday availability
