We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented janitor to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Janitor to support our team in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our child care center. This position requires 3-4 hours of work in the evening, ensuring that the center is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next day. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and common areas Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing soap and paper products Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the facility manager Follow cleaning protocols to maintain a safe environment for children and staff Assist with special cleaning projects as needed

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety Ability to follow cleaning protocols and use cleaning supplies properly Comfortable working in an environment with children Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude

Schedule:

This position is part-time, with a shift of 3-4 hours in the evening, 5 days per week. The exact hours will be discussed during the interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
