Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server DBA for a leading Banking/Financial Services client. This role goes beyond administration and requires someone who understands Database Architecture and can actively contribute to development and solution design. You'll work on designing, deploying, and optimizing database systems while supporting DevSecOps practices in a hybrid work environment.
Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Scarborough (Preferred) / Downtown Toronto / Mississauga
Must Haves:
5+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server
Strong knowledge of Database Architecture and development support
Experience with Database automation / DevSecOps tools (e.g. Ansible, Liquibase, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions)
Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Shell/Python), and SDLC concepts
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have:
Experience with Oracle, AWS RDS, or Redshift
