Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Microsoft Fabric Data Base Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize our Microsoft Fabric environment. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our data platform infrastructure, supporting business intelligence, data engineering, and analytics initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities



Administer and maintain Microsoft Fabric components including OneLake, Data Factory, Power BI, and Synapse experiences. Manage user access, security roles, and workspace configurations in Microsoft Fabric. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of the Fabric environment. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data workflows and reporting needs. Implement and enforce governance policies, data retention, and compliance standards. Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, REST APIs, or Microsoft Graph. Stay current with Microsoft Fabric updates, features, and best practices. Provide support and training to end-users and technical teams. Database Management: Design and implement databases to support business applications and analytics. Provide direction to database administrators. Data Governance Enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance. Performance Optimization: Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. Security: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications



Education and Soft Skill



Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience in system administration, preferably with Microsoft cloud technologies.

Technical Skills



Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse Analytics. Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, KQL, or Python). Knowledge of Database and LakeHouse management solutions and performance tuning a strong plus. Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
