Job Title: AI Scientist
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid - 3days onsite)
Contract Role
Must Have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience developing Deep Learning and Machine Learning models.
Deep expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Information Extraction, and Generative AI.
Strong understanding of:
Embeddings, Re-rankers, and Agentic Frameworks
Model architectures (e.g., Transformers), fine-tuning, and inferencing techniques
Algorithms, Data Structures, and Distributed Computing
Proven track record building AI/ML systems from research to production.
Nice to Have:
Experience deploying Generative AI systems in production environments.
Familiarity with model evaluation strategies and model monitoring frameworks.
Knowledge of capital markets workflows and enterprise AI integration.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5J 2W4
