PLEASE NOTE: The role is hybrid and requires the person to be on-site in Montreal office 3 days/week.
Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Business & Technology Integration team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing an organization and designing its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.

• You will assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.
• Additionally, you will research, gather, and synthesize information.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
• You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• You are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Client Project Management is required.
• Expert proficiency in Requirements Analysis is recommended.
• Intermediate proficiency in Business Process Analysis Tools, Software Development Life Cycle, and Beginner proficiency in Adabas (Software) are suggested.

Here's What You Need:

• Functional Experience in Banking, Finance, Wealth Management or Insurance;
• 5 years of IT experience, including 2 to 3 projects delivered as a Business Analyst;
• Certification in relevant technology (Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.);
• Experience with several Data Engineering and/or Data Management technologies in the following categories:

• Relational and NoSQL databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Teradata, Adabas;
• Orchestration and transformation tools: Datastage, Informatica, Apache NiFi, dbt, Airflow;
• Languages: SQL (essential), Python, Pyspark, Scala, Java;
• Modelling tools: Erwin, PowerDesigner, dbt, Lucidchart, ArchiMate, Draw.io;
• Data visualization tools: PowerBI, Tableau;
• Data governance tools: Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon.
• Experience in one of the following cloud environments:

• Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Fabric);
• AWS (Redshift, S3, Lake Formation, SageMaker);
• GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Data Fusion);
• Multi-Cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
• Proficiency or Certification in several Delivery Methods: Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, SAFe, Design Thinking
• Proficiency with Project Management tools: Microsoft tools (Project, Visio, Office Suite), Athlassian JIRA
• Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization;
• Bachelor's degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
