Job Summary



The Data Scientist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to help organizations make informed business decisions. This role involves applying statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques to identify trends, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights that drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities



Collect, clean, and preprocess data

from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and quality.

Analyze large datasets

using statistical methods and programming tools to uncover insights and patterns.

Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms

to solve business problems and optimize processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

(engineering, business, marketing, finance, etc.) to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

Communicate findings and insights

through data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn).

Design and implement experiments (A/B testing)

to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes.

Build and maintain data pipelines

in collaboration with data engineers.

Monitor model performance

and retrain or refine models as needed.

Document methodologies, models, and data processes

to ensure reproducibility and compliance.

Stay updated on new data science tools, techniques, and best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering

, or a related field.

3+ years of experience

in data science, analytics, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in

programming languages

such as

Python

or

R

. Experience with

data manipulation and analysis libraries

(Pandas, NumPy, SciPy). Proficiency in

SQL

for querying and managing structured data. Solid understanding of

machine learning algorithms

(regression, classification, clustering, time-series forecasting). Experience with

ML frameworks

such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. Knowledge of

data visualization tools

(Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, etc.). Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data science and model deployment. Strong

mathematical and statistical foundations

(probability, hypothesis testing, linear algebra). Excellent

communication and storytelling skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
