Job Title Data Scientist

  • Developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted, big data sources.
  • Overseeing the acquisition and ingestion of data from structured and unstructured sources, while ensuring quality and comprehensiveness of data.
  • Leading data exploration and analytic projects and providing on-going coaching of big data topics (visualization, data mining, analytic techniques).
  • Exploring and implementing semantic data capabilities through NLP, text mining and machine learning techniques.
  • Leverage data set to help solve complex technical problems within and between various technology stacks
  • Collect data and develop metrics to measure performance of process requirements
  • Research and re-use industry best practices to facilitate planning and strategy for change in network operation engineering
  • Analysis and documentation of business, system requirements and system design.
Job Summary Explores and operationalizes big data sources using scientific processes and technologies to uncover and communicate product and business insights. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

Work with RBC Service Design and Integration (SDI) team to develop and deliver the next generation of network services and processes that are software driven , design, development and implementation of data science technologies. Apply machine learning and modelling on large data sets based on infrastructure telemetry to discover outliers, behaviors and trends.

Knowledge of python data science tools. Participate in the design and development of future state workflows with telemetry-based feedback loops and AI/ML analytics to eliminate toil, manage and control network infrastructure as code.
