Position Overview



The Data Scientist will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and applying analytical models that support ASI Engineering's asset management and engineering projects. This role combines technical data science expertise with practical engineering insight to generate meaningful insights from large infrastructure datasets.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, software developers, and project managers to develop predictive models, optimize maintenance and capital planning, and enhance the analytical capabilities of ASI's asset management software platform, CityOptima.

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting insights from complex data sets, developing predictive models, and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes within the organization. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and tools, as well as the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Duties



Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategies. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms. Design and maintain databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Conduct data mining and statistical analysis Utilize cloud-based data storage and processing solutions. Create visualizations and reports to present findings clearly and effectively. Stay updated with industry trends in big data technologies and analytics.

Education:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience



Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role with a portfolio of projects. Proficiency in programming languages. Experience with big data technologies. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms. Familiarity with database design principles for data manipulation. Knowledge of analytics tools and frameworks for effective data analysis. Experience with AI applications is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $41,602.00-$91,808.00 per year
