We are looking for an engineer who thrives in ambiguity, is a fast learner, and gets things done. If you are someone who prefers to rapidly iterate over waiting for perfect requirements, you will fit in.


This isn't a role for someone who prefers lists of tasks to be completed. We are looking for someone that can understand the problem, develop a vision of what needs to be done, and execute that vision. You will work closely with , diverse team building distributed systems around AI and large language models (LLMs).


We work at a very fast pace and write lots of code. If you are someone that enjoys programming, we would love to chat with you!


What You'll Do

Write code mostly in Go and Python (bonus points if you are full-stack) Work across our stack of backend systems, DBs, APIs, and AI/LLM infrastructure Work with a tech stack consisting of Kafka, Postgres, Hana, gRPC, and LLMs Collaborate closely with engineers from junior to senior staff
What We're Looking For

A strong programmer Proven ability to get things done with minimal supervision. You will get plenty of mentoring, but we value independence Curiosity and grit : if you enjoy learning and challenges, you will love this team Familiarity with AI/ML and/or LLMs is a plus but not strictly required. This is not a research role Experience with distributed systems is a plus BS in CS, Math, or Physics (with strong programming background) Fluency in English language and the ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams is a key requirement. Ce poste convient a quelqu'un qui n'attend pas une liste de taches a executer. Nous recherchons une personne capable de comprendre un probleme, de developper une vision claire de ce qui doit etre fait, et de la mettre en oeuvre. Vous travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec une equipe diversifiee qui concoit des systemes distribues autour de l'IA et des modeles de langage de grande taille (LLMs).

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 74,600 - 156,800(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
