Responsibilities



Collect, clean, and preprocess large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources using ETL tools such as Talend and Bash scripts. Design and implement scalable database architectures to support high-performance data storage and retrieval, ensuring data integrity and security. Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models utilizing frameworks like TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other machine learning libraries to solve complex business problems. Apply unsupervised learning techniques for clustering, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition to extract meaningful insights from big data sets. Conduct data mining activities to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities that inform strategic initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate linked data sources and develop comprehensive data models supporting advanced analytics. Deploy machine learning models into production environments with robust model training pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Utilize natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze text data for sentiment analysis, chatbots, or document classification applications. Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS for scalable computing resources and storage solutions tailored to project needs. Use SQL, R, Python, SAS, and VBA for statistical analysis, scripting automation tasks, and developing dashboards with tools like Looker for visualizing insights. Stay current with emerging AI advancements including quantum engineering applications that could revolutionize data processing capabilities.

Requirements



Proven experience in data science or analytics roles with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating model development and deployment. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA for scripting and automation purposes. Extensive knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Hadoop ecosystem components for processing large-scale datasets efficiently. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS for deploying scalable machine learning solutions. Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar libraries for building sophisticated AI models. Expertise in database design principles along with SQL proficiency for querying complex datasets effectively. Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), AI techniques, model training workflows, and model deployment strategies. Strong analytical skills complemented by experience in data mining techniques to uncover actionable insights from complex datasets. Knowledge of linked data concepts for integrating disparate datasets into unified knowledge graphs or semantic networks is a plus. Experience working with ETL tools like Talend or similar platforms to automate data workflows efficiently. Ability to communicate technical findings clearly through dashboards or reports using visualization tools such as Looker or equivalent software.
