Business Group:

• The Technology & Finance Analytics team provides analytical solutions to internal client departments. Providing reports and information based on the requested needs. This team is highly connected within the internal cooperate functions.

Summary:

• This position is responsible for providing project specific information to their partnered client department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytic solutions for the project stakeholders.

Typical Day in Role:

• Developing analytic solutions for project stakeholders
• Data Cleaning, Processing and Modeling through the use of Python, SQL and Power BI
• The position will be responsible for model developing based on project needs
• Communicating regularly with management regarding status updates
• Engage with different teams across the organization - i.e., internal stakeholders to understand and articulate analytic requirements

Must Haves:

• 3-5 Years of experience in a Data Scientist position
• Ability to develop advanced analytical solutions based on business requirements
• Strong familiarity with Python and SQL, hands-on experience working with Big Data and various data formats
• Previous experience with data cleaning, processing and visualization
• Previous experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, data pipeline and model development

Nice to Haves:

• Previous Financial Institution experience
• Power BI experience

Soft Skills:

• Communication Skills
• Relationship building skills

Education and other requirements:

• Post-Secondary Education is required but would be preferred in a related field

Interview Process:

• There will be 2 interviews:

o General interview about the candidate profile
o Selected candidates from the first round will have a second technical round
