Our client, a global renowned IT company (An American multinational company, specializing in information technology services and consulting worldwide; A Fortune Global 500 company), End Client: Gaming Industry is looking for a Data Scientist (along with Software Engineering background) with below skillsets:

Full Details:

Position Title: Data Scientist 1
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 10 - 18 Months long contract (with possibilities of extension)

Location: Vancouver, BC (mandatory 3 Days Onsite role, open to only for Local candidates)

Start Date: ASAP / End of March 2024

Pay Rate:

50$ - 62$ INCORPORATED / hourly. + HST

Or

35$ - 45$ on T4

(depends on the skillsets and years of experience).

We are looking for a Data Scientist 1 with below skillsets:

• Minimum 3 - 5+ years of relevant and overall experience (coding experience in python or similar language, Ability to read and comprehend C++/C# code).
• We are seeking a Software Engineer who is looking to move over to Data Science, to support and help grow the data analysis and machine learning capabilities.
• The Data Scientist will leverage the data rich cache of Gameplay data within the studio to help create the best gaming experience for the players
• Collaborate with Gameplay Engineers and Designers to understand the game and their features. Create, update and support game play telemetry events.
• Test and debug telemetry events. Supports efforts to apply debugging tools and examines logs, telemetry, and other methods to verify assumptions proactively.
• Design, create and maintain PowerBI reports for stakeholders throughout the studio. Design, implement and validate hypothesis driven/exploratory analysis projects etc.
