DESCRIPTION:

Robert Half is hiring now for a determined and accomplished Business Data Analyst to fulfill an exciting role for our Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting on performance metrics at all organizational levels using visualization tools like Power BI (metrics for the organization, team, and person). You will have the chance to take part in the construction and upkeep of organizational management systems and procedures as well as the advancement of the organizational data strategy. Through data analysis and routine reporting, you will influence and have an impact on organizational decisions in this capacity. You will be a member of a small but effective team that supports the business by analyzing and reporting on performance measurements and business results. Our Client is based in Edmonton, AB. but this role is open to hybrid remote work concessions for eligible candidates.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• A degree from a postsecondary institution in science, business, or the arts with a major in economics, statistics, or another quantitative subject
• Two to three years of experience reporting and analyzing study findings
• Proficiency with data analysis, reporting, and reporting tools like Power BI.
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency and advanced Excel competency
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Attention to detail and evidence of critical and analytical thinking
• Highly organized with an uncanny knack for seeing needs, opportunities, and difficulties coming and proactively addressing them
• Shown independence with little or no daily supervision
• Ability to clearly communicate critical assessment of complex and dynamic events to the right audience(s).
• Demonstrated proficiency in producing properly written paperwork, such as reports, rules, and instructional materials
