Job Summary:

helps customers build trusted, cloud-based data ecosystems on

Snowflake

, ensuring their data is

secure, reliable, and high-quality

.
As part of our mission to enable data confidence, the

Data Quality Specialist

plays a critical role in defining, implementing, and maintaining quality controls across client data environments.
In this role, you'll partner with data engineers, architects, and governance specialists to design

automated validation frameworks

, monitor data quality KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across ingestion,
modelling, and consumption layers. You will collaborate closely with clients to ensure that their Snowflake environments and analytical models are built upon

clean, consistent, and accurate data

.

What you'll get to do:



Define, implement, and maintain

data quality frameworks

and

standards

across client Snowflake environments. Design and execute

data validation

and

profiling

processes to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, or gaps. Collaborate with

data engineering

and

governance teams

to ensure proper lineage, metadata, and data stewardship practices are in place. Implement and monitor

automated data quality tests

using tools such as

Great Expectations

or

custom SQL/Python scripts

. Partner with clients to establish and track

data quality metrics (DQIs/KPIs)

and communicate insights through reports and dashboards. Conduct

root cause analysis

for data quality issues and drive remediation plans. Support and advise clients in aligning their data quality processes with

best practices in Snowflake, dbt, and ELT orchestration

. Contribute to the

Infostrux Data Excellence Framework

, helping refine our methodologies for data governance, observability, and trust. Mentor team members and advocate for data quality as a key pillar of data engineering excellence.

What you'll bring:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with data profiling, data validation, and quality assurance practices within data warehouse or analytics environments. Proficiency with SQL and data transformation tools such as

dbt

,

Snowflake

, or similar platforms. Familiarity with

Python

or

Scala

for building automated data quality checks. Understanding of ELT/ETL frameworks and data pipelines (e.g.,

Fivetran

,

Airflow

,

Prefect

, or

Dagster

). Experience working with clients and cross-functional teams to define and measure data quality metrics and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in large, complex data environments.
