Data Integration Developer - Growth Outreach and CRM Orchestration
Location: Montreal, Canada (On-Site, Full-Time)
Salary Range: CAD 62 000 - 80 500 per year
Role Overview
Own and operate the customer outreach platform and the enterprise CRM to deliver large-scale, low-latency lead movement and clean customer records. Partner with the internal data team that provisions upstream data feeds. You will configure audiences, field mappings, workflows, triggers, and two-way syncs inside the outreach and CRM systems. Success is reliable campaign activation for millions of contacts and deterministic promotion of qualified leads into CRM with clear audits and alerts.
Outreach and CRM Operations
Configure and maintain audiences, segments, suppression lists, and campaign membership in the outreach platform.
Manage two-way data syncs between outreach and CRM using native connectors or app integrations.
Define and implement lead lifecycle logic, including trigger thresholds and routing rules that promote contacts from outreach to CRM.
Data Contracts and Field Mapping
Own the field mapping between outreach and CRM, including data types, picklists, and validation rules.
Document and enforce data contracts with the internal data team that operates upstream feeds.
Keep reference data and required attributes aligned so automations run deterministically.
Identity Resolution and Data Quality
Implement deduplication, merge rules, and identity resolution using platform features such as alternate keys, matching rules, and duplicate detection.
Build recurring reconciliation checks and exception queues to resolve sync errors and reject lists quickly.
Automation and Workflows
Configure platform automations, workflow rules, assignment logic, and SLA timers that support handoffs from marketing to sales.
Implement idempotent update patterns and safe retries inside platform integrations to avoid duplicates and side effects.
Observability and Controls
Set up dashboards, alerts, and runbooks inside the outreach and CRM systems to monitor sync health, latency, error rates, and failed records.
Ensure compliance with consent management, unsubscribe propagation, and regional privacy requirements.
Performance and Scale
Tune batch sizes, concurrency, and sync schedules in-platform to serve multi-million contact campaigns and high-activity CRM records while controlling platform costs.
Qualifications and Experience
3+ years administering a modern customer outreach platform and an enterprise CRM in production.
Demonstrated experience operating native connectors, app-based integrations, and REST-based connections between software.
Practical knowledge of identity resolution, deduplication, and merge strategies at scale.
Comfortable writing basic queries for validation and reconciliation and using one scripting language for small utilities when needed.
Proven ability to create clear documentation, runbooks, and data contract specs for cross-team alignment.
Communication
Excellent communication skills in English, as it is the primary working language within the engineering team and among stakeholders.
