Job Title: Data Handler



Job Overview:


The Data Handler will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate product information across multiple platforms. This role supports e-commerce operations by ensuring product data is complete, consistent, and optimized for online visibility and customer engagement. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of product content and logistics data.

Key Responsibilities



Analyze and cross-reference product information from various manufacturers and suppliers. Maintain and update product databases, including SKUs, attributes, specifications, and technical details. Create, update, and optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Shopify, and WooCommerce. Write accurate and engaging product descriptions using technical data and marketing guidelines. Manage product images, ensuring correct format, resolution, and naming conventions. Calculate and verify product dimensions, weights, and packaging details for shipping and warehousing. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to support pricing and catalog decisions. Assist with email marketing and social media promotion as needed. Prepare Excel-based reports related to product updates, pricing research, data discrepancies, and catalog performance. Perform general administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications



College diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Management, or related field; OR 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, product data management, or content management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning). Experience with e-commerce platforms (eBay, Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce) considered an asset. Ability to interpret and work with technical product information. Basic proficiency with image editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, or similar). Understanding of logistics data, including dimensions, weights, and packaging requirements. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to analyze product attributes, pricing, and market conditions. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Work Location: In person
