Reporting to the Resource Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for entering patient lab results/health information into our electronic health record, ensuring the information is entered accurately, timely and verified. Scanning of documents may also be required. Maintains patient confidentiality / privacy at all times according to CCMB policy.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Applicant must be a high school graduate (Grade XII) or equivalent
Minimum of 1-year experience working as a Data Entry Clerk (entering Lab Results)
Must demonstrate attention to detail, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and enjoy working in a team environment
Must hold a satisfactory employment record
Must be able to legally work in Canada
Will be assessedduring
Typing speed - minimum 10,000 keystrokes per hour, or 40 wpm with less than 1% error rate
Preferred:

Experience with Microsoft Office Programs and electronic medical records
Knowledge in medical terminology
Experience volunteering or working in a healthcare environment
Asset:
Working experience with MAXON/ARIA
Keyboarding of 45 wpm
Proficiency in terminal digit order
Ability to speak French
