This opportunity requires the ability to collaborate with colleagues from many functional departments, including finance, sales, operations, marketing and IT to build the next generation of our business intelligence and business analytics platform.

What you\'ll do:

• Provide information management and delivery leadership and support for Softchoice\'s business groups and Analytic & Reporting Platforms (Data Warehouse & Data Lake)
• Build the infrastructure and pipelines required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, NoSQL, on-premises or cloud (Azure/AWS)
• Partnering with assigned business areas to understand and prioritize information needs and translate business requirements into systems solutions
• Responsible for various types of technical documentation. Specific documents include business requirements, functional/technical specifications, process flows, unit test plans, QA tests, lineage, date dictionary and user acceptance plans
• Implement and deploy solutions based on standards, developments procedures, and best practices

What you\'ll bring to the table:

• Progressive experience in business analysis and data analysis systems, including working in a DW/BI/Data Lake environment
• Enthusiastic part of the team; naturally positive - can do attitude
• Client focus - collaborate directly with owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) of the business process; eager to understand the needs of the business and support sales, marketing, and technical services divisions
• Ownership - follow through on commitments to quality deliverables and timelines
• Balanced approach - has fun, celebrates wins
• Exceptional learning agility - adept at quickly grasping and mastering intricate systems and processes, often exhibiting independent initiative even in the absence of guidance from peers
• A college or university degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
• 5+ Years of experience with Microsoft Azure Products: Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Service, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databases, and DAX
• 5+ years of proven experience in the design and implementation of modern data lake/warehouse architecture, in Data Delivery/Analytics, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT Tools, Master Data Management and developing highly automated and documented solutions
• Experience with REST API, Azure Data Platforms (IaaS, PaaS), SQL (MSSQL, TSQL), and NoSQL & Stored Procedures, Azure Synapse
• Experience with advanced SQL queries, C#, Python, Java, or any other OOP programming languages
• Solid knowledge of SAP HANA, Salesforce and experience working with Power BI or other visualization tools and a good understanding of data modelling concepts
• Team player, reliable, good leadership qualities, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment working with cross-functional teams
