Job Description

Description: A Data Engineer designs, implements, and maintains data pipelines, warehouses, and infrastructure to support the collection, storage, and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities:

Building and optimizing data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into storage systems.
Designing and managing data warehouses, databases, and storage solutions to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications.
Developing and maintaining data integration and processing frameworks to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support data-driven decision-making and product development initiatives.
Implementing data governance policies and security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
Strong understanding of database systems, data modeling, and query optimization techniques.
Experience with big data technologies and platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Apache Airflow.
Knowledge of cloud computing services and infrastructure for data storage and processing (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
