Annual Salary: $83,117 - $114,286

Under operational direction of the VP, Integrated Marketing and Data Analytics, this position is responsible for integrating data buy building data pipelines and supporting data architecture on Azure for cross functional teams. The Data Engineer will support our BI developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery and architecture consistency throughout ongoing projects.

What will you do?

• Design and build reusable data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to handle data from various sources.
• Develop Modern Data Warehouse using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Data Bricks and ensure its optimal performance.
• Develop, design, and optimize data models and data structures that are reusable.
• Development of DevOps CI/CD, automation, and deployment.
• Participate in metadata management and data governance initiatives.
• Solve complex data challenges and deliver insights that help the organization achieve its goals.
• Work with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, Data and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist teams to assist them in building and optimizing our products into an innovative industry leader.
• Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

Some things that would impress us:

• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification preferred.
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and working familiarity with various databases and performance tuning.
• Experience building and optimizing \xe2\x80\x98big data\xe2\x80\x99 data pipelines, architectures and data sets with Azure Data Factory and hands-on experience with Azure Synapse.
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytic skills in working with unstructured datasets and some experience with Python.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
