Title: Senior Tableau Developer

Duration : 12 Months Contract with extension possibility
Work Environment: Hybrid in the Mississauga office
Hours: 37.5 Hours
Interviews: 2 rounds

This role will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level Tableau dashboards for the Finance department in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality Tableau dashboards that meet the needs of Finance report users
  • Responsible for automating the data refreshes of the data source in Tableau
  • Developed Tableau workbooks from multiple data sources
  • Knowledge of actions, filters, parameters, sets and Tableau design options
  • Design visualizations to identify the trends in the data sets in scope
  • Collect, refine and prepare data from GCP / BQ environment and source files
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the dashboard and implement enhancements as requested by dashboard users
  • Identify issues and work through resolution in a time sensitive manner
  • Conduct user training sessions and assist novice Tableau developers
Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience developing dashboards in Tableau
  • Extensive experience in Tableau dashboard building and publishing on Server
  • Strong knowledge of SQL to generate custom queries and analysis
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a high performance environment
  • Ability to seek improvements to all aspects of the development process and attention to detail
