Hybrid (90% Remote)Purpose of Role: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Part-Time Data curator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for labeling and annotating image and video data, scripting to clean up and organize datasets to support the development of our AI models. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of data accuracy, hands on light coding and scripting and a passion for contributing to cutting-edge technology.Why choose Weir:

• Accurately annotate and label images and videos according to the provided guidelines and specifications.
• Review and verify the quality of annotations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Development and execution of data cleaning scripts
• Meet daily and weekly annotation targets while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on annotation guidelines and best practices.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in a related field (e.g., engineering) is a plus.
• Previous experience in data annotation, labeling, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of image and video formats.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting
• Python coding is a plus
